The Million Dollar Question

Do you have eternal life? We all will have eternal existence in either Heaven or Hell. The Bible says it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgement. On that day, you will give an account of your entire life. You must say,"Oh, I'll be alright. After all, I've never murdered anyone!" but God sees hatred as sin. For man looks at the outward appearance but the Lord looks at the heart. You may say" Well, i've never robbed a bank." However, if you've stolen anything, even if it's not worth much, you've sinned. Every sin, no matter how common, is an offense against God who is righteous an just. When it's your turn for judgement, will He find you innocent or guilty? The Bible says for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Sin not only seperates you from God now, it also has an eternal penalty. Do you know what the penalty is? The wages of sin is death, spiritual death in Hell where you will consciously suffer forever. But the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus. This is because Jesus, who never sinned, was punished for sinners. He was brutally beaten and died a cruel death upon the cross, bearing the wrath of God. For our sake He made Him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in Him we might becomt the righteousness of God. After Jesus died, He was buried, rose from the grave, and later ascended into heaven. You too can have eternal life but you must repent and totally trust christ. If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. All your sins will be forgiven, your relationship with God will be reconciled, and He will grant you everlasting life. Today, if you will hear his voice do not harden your heart. Spent time before God in prayer. Confess your sins and turn away from them. Put your faith in christ alone to save you and surrender your life to him. Eternal life is found in knowing the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom He has sent.
